Global Telehealth Network partners with organizations on the ground

The Global Telehealth Network partners with non-governmental organizations and ministries of health that already have health workers on the ground in medically underserved areas. In many cases, these local organizations have just a few doctors for many thousands of patients.

TANZANIA

Volunteer physicians in many specialties provide consultations for primary care physicians at a remote hospital in Tanzania.

UGANDA

Primary care physician volunteers provide backup for a nurse caring for over 500 students and staff at a boarding school for Congolese refugee children.
